It is suitable for 12 years and over unless accompanied by an adult.

• Violence- ‘Moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on detail.’ No emphasis on injuries or blood and sexual violence can only be implied with ‘strong contextual justification’.

• Theme- ‘Mature themes are acceptable, but their treatment must be suitable for young teenagers.’

• Sex- Brief and discreet, not unsuitable for young teenagers.

• Nudity- Brief and discreet if sexual.

• Language- ‘Moderate language is allowed. The use of strong language (for example, ‘fuck’) must be infrequent.’

It is only suitable for people over the age of 15.

·         Violence- ‘may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury,’ however gory pictures are not likely to be acceptable.

·         Theme- ‘No theme is prohibited, provided the treatment is appropriate for 15 year olds.’

·         Sex- Sexual activity can be shown and strong references to sex are allowed. However ‘strongest references are unlikely to be acceptable unless justified by context.’

·         Nudity- Allowed in sexual context but without too much detail.

·         Language- ‘There may be frequent use of strong language. The strongest terms may be acceptable if justified by the context. Aggressive or repeated use of the strongest language is unlikely to be acceptable.’
